The "Biltmore Homespun Shops" showing "hand-dyeing,spinning & hand weaving wool into cloth.The business still has the old machinery & handlooms.An antique automobile museum & the North Carolina Homespun Museum are on a 11-acre park next to the Grove Park Inn Resort.
The most notorious landmark in Asheville is the house where the famous novelist Thomas Wolfe grew up.The house remains preserved true to its description in Wolfe's most famous novel,Look Homeward,Angel.
